The idea behind Lean sofa started from my own way of using a sofa. I often sit or lie lengthwise rather than upright, so I wanted to explore how a sofa could offer better support in that position. This led to the inclined side, which works as both armrest and backrest, creating different ways of sitting and relaxing within one coherent piece. Nominated in the Bolia Design Awards 2026.
