The idea for the table emerged when I began to question the tabletop as an almost sacred and protected zone for intervention. It felt exciting and almost a bit forbidden to cut away material from the surface instead of maximizing it.

When I added legs that followed the shape of the holes in the tabletop, the project went from an abstract idea to a piece of furniture.

I think that the loss surface is well compensated by the strong expression and attitude of the table.

The table is made of metal. Dimensions: Ø 700 mm, H 400 mm.
